For a few weeks now when Steve is around I've been having him try to feel the baby kick with no success. The baby will be going crazy and as soon as Dad's hand hits my belly, it's crickets, baby stops. Last night, Steve was being an awesome Dad putting together a new dresser I had bought for the baby room (it's from Ikea so it had about 200 parts). He had just put the crib together the day before so he had been really doing a lot for the baby room. After dad finished working for the night, I was reading in bed and baby was going really crazy (like flips and cartwheels) so I called Steve in. This time, as soon as he put his hand down, baby kicked him like 3 times in a row. I think he was just saying "Thanks Dad" for putting my room together.
We cannot wait to meet him. Here are some sneak peaks of the baby room. Still needs a new ceiling light fixture, our custom bookshelf (thanks to Grandpa), and the monkey sailboat decal....we will more post when things come together more.
