I'm not fat, I'm pregnant

So I started to "show" this week and have a little bump going. It's not to obvious unless I wear a tight shirt, but I am fully aware of it! Last night, as I was trying to pack for Vegas I tried on a few of my dresses. I finally realized just how much my body has changed when I could only zip one of my dresses halfway up. Yikes, it may just be time to go to buy some more maternity clothes.

Another green flag

We had another ultrasound on Wednesday and all is well. We are at 20 weeks, so halfway there! The baby looks healthy and happy. He is snuggled with his head down in my pelvis (next to my bladder, hence the constant trips to pee) and feet were crossed :). He's just lounging away, growing. His heart has 4 chambers, diaphragm in the right place, spinal cord healthy, head and femur measurements are normal. Blood test came back with no problems.
Now Steve and I have to start signing up for infant prep classes, infant CPR, breastfeeding classes, etc. We also need to find a pediatrician, look into cord blood banking?, choose a name, and the list is endless. Lots of decision making in our future (like 18 years of it, ha).

We are so excited and happy. We are flying to Vegas to celebrate with some of Steve's cousins the health of Franco (who was diagnosed with Lymphoma a while back) as he is now in remission and healthy. This will be my first flight with baby and without my anti-anxiety meds so I am a little worried, especially to Vegas (the capital of horrible turbulence).

What was that?

A few nights ago while Steve was away on a work trip, I was laying in bed reading my book while Brooklyn laid across my belly. He was totally asleep, snoring. I felt a very small movement in my belly and right as I felt it, Brooklyn suddenly woke up shook his head and looked at me with a "What was that?" look on his little face. He looked around, looked back at me and laid back down. At the same time I was thinking, "What was that?". I think it was our little buddy saying hi to Brooklyn. Since then I have been feeling the baby move a lot, especially after I eat. It's an awesome feeling. Haven't felt it on the outside yet so Steve hasn't gotten to feel it yet, but soon.
