I can't believe that Connor is 2 months old already. He is a growing boy and he is developing normally. He has started to really smile a lot (in the mornings especially). He is starting to look at the pictures and likes to listen to books. He also discovered some toys on his bouncy chair and he loves to stare at them. He especially likes a yellow and orange striped duck toy. He has started to "coo" back at Steve and I too.

Connor's Baptism
Connor was baptized this Sunday at my childhood church, Walnut Creek United Methodist. It meant so much to me having my son baptized at the same church I was and where I have had so many meaningful moments (including my marriage to Steve). We had all our closest friends (except for some who were unable to come due to prior commitments) and family there at the service and we also had a nice lunch at Back Forty BBQ (thanks to our parents). Connor slept through most of the baptism but woke up when the water touched him. No crying though, which was nice. He enjoyed visiting with his friends and family at the lunch too.
Happy Turkey Day!

Connor's first Thanksgiving was a hit.
We started the holiday out with a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Sanders at our house. They watched Connor while mommy made her yummy pies (Strawberry Rhubarb and Maple Pumpkin). Then Thanksgiving Eve dinner at Fuzia in Morgan Hill where we ate tons of yummy Italian fare made especially for our group (a Cox family group). Connor got to meet his Auntie Laurie for the first time and they hit it off. Connor fell asleep as we walked in and woke up as we walked out, perfect baby.
The next day we spent the morning at home while Daddy made his delicious stuffing and shredded brussel sprouts. Then we went over to Grandma and Grandpa Cox's for a yummy day of eating and relaxing. Connor didn't get to try any of the yummy food but he still was well fed.
Then Black Friday we headed up to Concord and Daddy went to golf with Grandpa and Uncle Tim. Connor and Mommy spent the day with Auntie Katie, Josh, Cameron and Grandma Sanders. We played around the house, ate left overs, took a nap, and went for a walk around the neighborhood. A great holiday!
