Most of you know me as a "planner". I am a type A, need to know everything, plan everything kind of a person. So as soon as I found out I was pregnant my burning question was, do I buy pink stuff or blue stuff?
When we talked with our doctor we asked when we could find out the sex and she said "at 20 weeks". Which seemed like an eternity to wait given we were only 13 weeks. I asked, "Is there anyway we could come in early for a "quick" ultrasound to find out the sex?...i.e we will pay out of pocket?" She was game after she heard I was willing to pay for it.
So 4 weeks and a whopping $70 later, we had ultrasound #4 and found that our little bean is actually a little man. The ultrasound has an arrow pointing at his "man parts" but I can't see (and didn't see) anything that day. I guess that's why I'm not a OBGYN or Ultrasound tech. She was confident we were having a boy and Steve and I were THRILLED!
So now on to the name picking, equipment buying, nursery planning and so on.
